Based on Michel Foucault's "Discipline and Punish," the play treats the body as a field of surveillance, exercise, and control, through fragments of everyday speech recorded in a gym setting. Four contemporary fitness-conscious citizens are called upon, in a dystopian and competitive environment, to prove they can remain functional parts of a productive society, highlighting modern society's obsession with physical performance and the avoidance of death.
