Over several months, a writer visits a twenty-year-old patricide, Martin, in prison, intending to write a play based on his story and have him play himself onstage. When that is forbidden by the ministry, a young actor, Federico, takes on the role instead. Sergio Blanco builds a contemporary study of male identity, violence and crime, drawing on the myth of Oedipus and Dostoevsky, while also reflecting on the creative process of theater itself.
